Editor's Note · Edition II · Q2 2026
The publication acquires a date.
This is the first edition published as a dated edition. Every page now carries the quarter in the upper right; every closing carries a signed line, drawn from the institutional voice and signed by the edition. The institution has begun to sign and date its own work.
A reader who screenshots any page now has the date in the screenshot. A reader who returns next quarter will find what stood and what moved. The publication becomes a chronological record over time, not only the surface of its current state.
What has changed in Edition II is structural. The masthead, the signed closing, the way the hero arrives. The doctrine has not changed. The frame around the doctrine has.
Editions accumulate. Edition III will record what the quarter has earned to publish; Edition IV will do the same. Over time the publication will read as the institution's thinking in time, not only its thinking in the moment.

Change Log
What changed in Edition II.
Masthead
Every page now carries the quarter in the upper right, set in the publication's serif. The dateline is the smallest gesture; it commits the entire site to a quarterly cadence.
Signed editorial closing
The footer's institutional line is elevated into its own breathing space above the directory and signed by the edition. A reader who reaches the foot of any page meets the institution's standing voice for the quarter.
Hero arrival
The homepage hero performs a single graceful settling motion on first paint. The institution does not unveil; the view clears.
Edition vocabulary
Roman numerals introduced as the institution's ordinal language, distinct from the Arabic figures used for cardinal value. Edition II is the second edition; Q2 2026 is the calendar quarter.
